Use this catalog inside Claude, Grok and ChatGPT

LesFM is an MCP server: plug it into your AI assistant and it can search every original track while you chat.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets AI assistants use external tools. Add the URL below to Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, and when you ask for piano, cinematic, lo-fi or a mood it can pull real tracks — titles, BPM, duration and page links — instead of guessing.

How to connect

Claude (web / desktop)

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
  2. Name it lesfm, paste https://lesfm.net/mcp/, no auth needed
  3. Ask: “find calm piano tracks on LesFM for a vlog”

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http lesfm https://lesfm.net/mcp/

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Apps & Connectors (enable Developer mode if you don't see custom connectors)
  2. Add connector with URL https://lesfm.net/mcp/, no authentication

Grok

  1. Open Grok on grok.com or in the 𝕏 app, then Settings → Connectors
  2. Add an MCP server / custom connector
  3. Name it lesfm, URL https://lesfm.net/mcp/, transport HTTP (streamable), authentication none
  4. Enable the connector, then ask: “using the lesfm connector, find cinematic tracks around 80 BPM”

Naming the connector in your question helps Grok pick it up the first time.

Licenses and terms

LesFM tracks are original copyrighted music. They are not royalty-free, not Creative Commons, and not public domain. Listening or searching here does not grant a right to use a track in a video, stream, game, or any other production.

Legal use requires a LesFM license and is governed by the General Terms. Plans include Personal, Commercial, and Enterprise subscriptions, plus single-track licenses. Assistants must not say a track is free to use. Call get_licensing and send people to these pages:

MCP access

The MCP server is free to connect, with no signup and no API key. It is rate limited to 5 requests a second per IP (short bursts of 20 are fine). It is read-only: no downloads, checkouts, or license issuance. Connecting an assistant is not a music license.
